I have purchased this at the same price few weeks back. I never had experience with these tools. I found this drill as easy to use and worked for me for small projects. Haven't used other two tools yet. I'll definitely explore to use them when we move to our own house in near future. I think I had a great purchase.

I would highly recommend turning on all the tools to see if they work. Awhile back I bought a 5 tool kit during Black Friday sales (pre-covid) and the other day I tried to use my circular saw and it wouldn't turn on. Luckily it was under warranty for a year but I was pretty pissed since it was new.

Ok so I bought this two weeks ago (1/31) The circular saw is just complete crap. My porter cable one is better which isn't saying much.... The saw is small, underpowered and struggled to cut some lexan.

The drill is okay. Basic drill. The "hammer drill" is also trash if you were looking to buy that.... The recip saw actually worked when I had to cut some aluminum pipe. I'm no way a pro.. just a fat lazy American looking for the cheapest tools to fix crap around the house here and there. The circular saw was just... Sad.... If you need to cut a 2x4 .. perfect.

I put a diablo blade on my ryobi saw and it was a night and day differnce compared to the stock blade.

Agree here. The circular saw is terrible and underpowered. I had one and sold it.

The 'circular saw' is a battery powered TRIM SAW. It does not have the power of a corded saw. It should, actually, cut lexan unless you are horsing it through and not giving it time to cut, or you put the blade on backwards. Confused

I saw a couple of Youtube reviews before buying and most thought it was good for a DIY'er. Obvioulsy not for professionals but they showed it cutting 2 x 4s and even a 4 x 4 by cutting the 4 sides.

That's what Ryobi is good for, consumer grade. It's not going to compare well to pro-sumer grade Dewalt/Milwaukee, but their stuff is fine for a home owner/DIYer who only needs them for a couple projects.
All said and done this is a good deal for a wide variety of tools. The battery is on the small side, this is probably trying to get people invested in their platform to buy more batteries. They're on the cheap side compared to the pro-sumer grade batteries fortunately.
The best thing about Ryobi is that they only have 2 different battery types, so you get a wide range of tooling for the same battery. 40v for the big stuff and 18v for the hand tools. Probably the best in the consumer grade in this regard.

I agreed with others here that the saw is junk even comparing it to other cheap brand battery saw. I will give it a try with the diablo blade and see if it is better as you said. I think the battery size also makes a difference. That being said, this is a very good deal given the tools and battery for the price. Out of these 3 tools, I like the drill driver with a wide range of adjustment.
