Teach monsters was great. This reminds me I need to cancel Math Tango which is 5 a month subscription. If anyone has any good free Math apps please share, they all kind of sucked compared to Math Tango but $5/m adds up for a single app.

Never tried Math Tango with the kids. Of the tools I'm currently using with the kids only Prodigy has a free plan. However, the design will nag you and the kids to become a member and I'd argue that the rpg interface isn't best suited to the youngest learners. I like Prodigy and subscribe, but I'd mention the other subscriptions I also still employ.
This journey started with Dreambox and I can't say enough good things there, especially for younger learners (since there's little distraction beyond the core math learning). Beast Academy is amazing but works well with guidance or a learner who is both self-directed and willing to grind.
Teach Your Monster is great, but it uses an English accent though.
This is true and I have to listen for certain instances where I need to interject and teach OUR way for saying it! My son would say "numba" for number. Can't think of all the other words it said with British English accent
Anyone looking for a reading app IRL the phonics readers from the originating company (USBORNE) are top notch and have the added bonus of being focused on reading skills and lacking the branding/product placement of so many books targeted to children.

I gladly paid for it way back when, and I've recently leaned that they're developing a math program.
