Got this years ago (probably 10+ years) for $8. Taste like sugar with a touch of honey and the can got clumped hard towards bottom 3rd. $11 is ok price but I wouldn't buy this again tho.

Is 100% honey (dried) available? If so, worth it as compared to a product like this?
It is - it's much more expensive than this as you'd expect since honey is a few times the cost of sugar or some of the other common additives (maldodextrin, dextrose).
I've used both types before. The pure honey powder is definitely better tasting. In my experience (and I haven't tried a lot of different manufacturers), the pure honey powder is a little gritty, not as uniform in texture. So while the other ingredients are primarily there to cut costs, there's probably a consistency benefit to them as well.
The pure honey powder was great as an additive for tea though - made those days when I had a sore throat in the office much more tolerable with a tea with some honey without the huge sticky mess.
I think what you mean is Honey is "sweet" why add sugar. Answer is since sugar is way cheaper than honey they add it to reduce the cost and increase their profits. This is done in many products, where they add sugar, bad oils, fillers, chemicals, artifical/natural flavors, to trick the human body that makes us think its the same real stuff (in this case honey).

Real honey will last for more than 30 years if stored properly- they found some in ancient pyramids that was fine.

I'd estimate that means this is approx. 26% sucrose, 25% honey, 49% fructose.

Sugar is cheap. Honey is expensive. Cut the honey with sugar: profits.
