I second that, I was told once that they need the manager to initiate the return, and of course the manager was vacation for the whole week, aka don't come back to this store again
That's the reason I never subscribe att services again after they stole $200 from me 11 years ago. I once subscribed to their ATT Uverse internet service when they had a promotion of $200 rebate for buying their router and activating a new internet service. I never received the $200 rebate card and when I called them, they always said they would resend the rebate card to me. After about a year, after I called them every month, and they promised to resend the rebate card several times, I never received my $200 and ATT blamed that someone stole my mails which was of course not true because I never lost any mail and how could it be possible that I only lost the att rebate mails multiple times but not their bill statements mails?
I received many rebates card from other companies at the same time (rebate card promotions were very popular 10 years ago).
The last time I called them, an idiot closed my account before transferring me to their supervisor when I asked him not to make any changes to my account, and the next rep then told me that they could not help me anything because my account was terminated a few minutes ago and refused to reactivate my account.
ATT even tried to bill me $16 for the partial month service which they cancelled without my permission. I refused to pay and att sent the $16 to collection agency. When the collection agency contacted me, I told them the story and that ATT owed me $200 and the collection agency never contacted me again.

How terrible could a company like ATT be when they sent $16 to collection agency when they owed customer $200 and they closed customer's account by "MISTAKE", which I thought was not a mistake but their trick to not pay me the $200?

I just bought one and ATT declined my 2nd purchase. Probably a security measure...Now wondering if I should call in or go to the store for a 2nd accessory.

Don't place more than one order in 24 hours using the same card and IP address because ATT is likely to flag you as fraud. Wait 24 hours and use a different computer and/or network (like using your phone's hotspot) to place the second order. It happened to me last December and att flagged my card for 24 hours and I used this trick to place 3 orders on each of my two chase cards. After 6 orders, ATT flagged my two chase cards semi-permanently (blocked for longer period than 24 hours) and this trick no longer worked.

Ah crap. So is it 24 hours from the last time I tried and got blocked or is it 24 h ours from the first order? I really screwed up cuz I kept trying.

24 hours from your first order if you were not blocked yet. If you were blocked, wait at least 24 hours from the last time you were blocked. Don't keep trying (even if you try to use a different card with different names) when you were blocked otherwise att might block your card/home address/ip address for days/weeks/months.

I think ATT only does the silly blocking thing if you don't have an ATT account.

Were you ever able to redeem the Cricket offer in store?
I'm wondering if the split payment trick can be done in a Cricket store on more expensive accessories for those of us with the offer on multiple cards...

EDIT:
I placed an accessory order with Cricket, and got the offer trigger E-mail right away
Rack-You-10 current has $5 back for Cricket too
AT&T and Cricket offers showed up on my Chase Freedom Flex. I placed 2 separate orders with AT&T, which will be delivered tomorrow. I haven't received any notifications about using this offer from Chase, but that has been hit or miss based on past experience.

I had the Cricket offer on 3 different cards previously and used each for an accessory purchase. Now, when I try to place an order for the current offer, I get an error message stating that I've reached the maximum allowed orders for my address (I guess the max was 3). I chatted with them, and they couldn't do anything to rectify the issue other than saying "you need to use a different card with a different shipping/billing address". Sure, I have plenty of those available.

If I go to a store (all of them around me are listed as "authorized retailer" on Cricket website) would that trigger this offer? I know AT&T store names come up differently on statements; is that the case for Cricket?

Thanks!

I placed my two orders a few hours apart, and didn't have an issue. I'm not an ATT subscriber either...

Can't answer your question about authorized retailers for Cricket. I think someone mentioned earlier that Cricket no longer has corp stores. You could try buying in store, and if the offer doesn't trigger, return it within 7 days. My offer triggered E-mail for Cricket was almost immediate.

This was my first time redeeming the Cricket offer, and I placed 3 orders, all 24 hours apart. Already received the $25 statement credit from my first order, 5 days after the first transaction. I wonder if you can change the shipping address by adding something like "front door" on the 2nd line. Would that get around their 3 max order limit?

I think I was screwed. I ordered two accessories to reach $37.5 but one item was shipped first. Now I see in my credit card account both a pending total and another pending amount of the shipped item. So I have to return both items, right? This is too tricky.

It looks like the same thing happened to me. I'll have to see if they charge once or I'll have to return them and buy again from a store.

Good chance you'll have to return them. My advice is to avoid ordering anything under $37.50 from their online store, cuz there's a very high chance the order will be split, even if the expected ship date is the same, since the items could be coming from different warehouses. The only time I might take a chance is if I'm ordering two identical items.

The employee lied to you. For my experience, most of the ATT employees would try not to do any return no matter whether you are ATT subscriber or not (they would use some excuses that you have no att account or your order was online order and you should return by mail), but if you insist that they SHOULD and definitely are able to do the return for you, they will somehow figure out how to process the return magically after doing "some research".

How will you return them, to a store or by mail? My previous return was a nightmare.

If you don't have an existing ATT account you will have to return in a store and deal with all that nonsense.
