Be careful with companies like this on Amazon… 133k store reviews 100% feedback rating… essentially these Chinese companies found some way for Amazon to negate any negative reviews by eliminating them because Amazon fulfills the orders. You have to say something generic like "Not Happy" or even state that "Not happy but Amazon fulfillment was great" for your review to actually count and even then Amazon still may mark off your review. But 133k at 100% feedback is suspicious to say the least

Its expensive, but it works every damn time, The heat from your hand transfers and cuts into the incream for scooping.

Other than price, the only drawback maybe that it is not dishwasher safe. I have had mine for 7 years now. Been through the dishwasher by mistake a few times but other than discoloration it still works fine.

says it's dishwasher safe. If their cutting board quality is any indication, we wouldn't want to put any of their zink alloy items into the dishwasher.

pretty sure you want the water filled ones which are actually the scoops they use at ice cream parlors. this isn't the ideal design, it doesn't matter how big the scoop is. in fact, if you notice most ice cream shops have scoops with really small scoopers.

Several reviews discuss thin chrome finish bubbles and pops off even when washed by hand.

I bought a scissor-like kind in 2015 for $10 - link below and not sure why so expensive now, but I do see other similar designs for around $10. I don't know how you can get much better than this design for home use....

Has blades to slice through the ice cream and the scissor type actions makes getting the scoop off a breeze. We don't eat a ton of ice cream, but I don't see any signs of it wearing down either.
