Looks like a decent idea for someone who doesn't want to spring for a radial arm saw or miter saw. Design looks decent enough.

This is definitely the kind of device that looks useful to someone unfamiliar with the operation and it either gets purchased as a gift (oh...how nice) or by a beginner, only to be quickly relegated to collecting dust.

Lowe's keeps them in the tool area. Each store usually has a Kreg section. Look for a lot of blue in one place.
