These TN panels have a very limited viewing angle i.e. you need to be sitting directly in front of the monitor.
I personally use VA panels for office work (good contrast).

1440p seems to be the best standard for resolution. Even if you can't run games at that resolution right now it might be best to get one anyway for in the future when you upgrade your pc.

Obviously there are 4k monitors too but 1440p seems to be the sweet spot between visual fidelity and performance.

I'm looking at this for possibly a work monitor. I need like 8. 1080p would be fine for the office and this thing has HDMI, DP, and a height adjustable stand which is what I want. The only thing I'm not sure about is that this is a TN display. Can anyone speak to this monitor?

Not bad for $170 but for around $50 more you can get a 144hz 1440p ips monitor off Amazon.

TN is fine for a lot of things but ips is much much better imo. After making the switch I wouldn't go back to tn for any media viewing.

This is a great price for a 24" 144Hz monitor that's compatible with Nvidia G-Sync, no comment on it being a TN panel though.

Its gone up in price ($20) since i bought it. But IPS and 1440p is worth the extra imo.

Does anyone know if you can return the monitor and keep the free sync?

This is terrible these days TN panels are quite hard to justify when ips are similarly priced
