Anyone have any experience with the D3 Everyday line, vs these? Not crazy about these handles — I have the 12" pan, but wondering about completing the set with Everyday.

Yes — the pans are all made in the US. Some lids, and I believe the non-stick lines, are made in China.

These are great pans, obviously. The problem work this set is that these sizes are not very practical at all, even if you are cooking for yourself. As great a value this is, I would pass. However, I certainly wouldn't blame anyone who identifies this set as addressing their particular needs.

Worst handle ever—utterly painful in my experience. Love my Demeyere.

this is a good set to have for all ya'll who want to show off those nice pants to people who visit your house. all you're showing is that you either don't know how to cook or don't cook much, which implies you are a terrible parent to be. Or maybe just a terrible single person too
So you judge peoples parenting ability by their…pans?

I got a set the last time this came up. I think it ended up around $250? Couldn't be happier. Honestly.

Well, I could, if I can find a stock pot for a great price lol.

All clad seems expensive, but is not. Think of it as a lifetime investment and once you get used to stainless cooking (especially fry pans), it's very worth it.

Especially, when you compare all clad to saladmaster, which many of my friends have been buying.

Saladmaster, MLM company that sells pots and pan sets in $5k-$15k range, makes you feel like their pots and pans are magical beings, when in fact, is 95% trickery.

Cooking for yourself in ANY cooking set is something to be celebrated!

(I cook almost everyday at home and use mostly Tramontina tri-ply, as well as an all-clad saute pan I got on sale here)

Spend the extra money and wait for the copper core pieces to go on sale. It gets posted about once a month. The all clad copper core are the best home use cookware out there in my opinion

So I bought this set a while back for like $230 or whatever it was on SD. I also happened to buy a 5-piece All-Clad set about a decade ago (I don't think they were called D3 back then, but that's what they are effectively).

As far as I can tell the two sets are functionally identical to one another. Both made in the US. The only difference I can tell is the very end of the handle seems slightly differently shaped between the two sets.
