Buying a money order with the gift card essentially gets the cash off the gift card. Take the money order to your bank and deposit it. I had issues adding the gift card to my Paypal and Venmo which is why I went the money order route. My cash offer from GameStop was $140 less than the visa gift card. Most grocery stores and even Walmart offer money orders. Swipe the giftcard as debit and enter a pin number and you should be good to go.

I think the tax is on $500 so 100 + 7% or whatever your state tax is + 60 + 20 = 215 approx

When was the last time you tried this? Back in November I went to Walmart and USPS to try and buy a Money Order but the POS blocked the transaction and I was not able to get a money order.
Tried this yesterday at a grocery store called Harris Teeter. Glad I didn't go to Walmart lol

Enter "a pin" meaning any random 4 numbers or do the gift cards get assigned an actual pin from the issuer?
Yes enter any random 4 numbers, the first time you enter a pin for the gift card that pin is now set for the card. This applies to Vanilla branded gift cards cant confirm for others.

Are you able to cancel insurance online or over phone?
If you call, they will credit you back for the next month only. They did it for me.

Yes I called as well and they credited $9.. you can get next month for 21 with $30 plan... I guess there is no auto pay discount in metro.

Do you know if the metro reps get some type of notification that the accounts they are opening don't get extended for the next month?

I had a very nice rep yesterday and would not like to hurt future deals at metro. In the past, I've had very shady reps that would push accessories and other services. This rep was nice although she did push the insurance, I did not mind. $175 for an 11 is a steal, especially if it Auto unlocks in 6 months

If buying two, will there be a discount on the 2nd line or is it still $60/month? Also, is it easy to retrieve port out information online or have to go through reps?

No discount. I have never ported out for fear of not getting automatic 6 month unlock.
To port, you need Metro account and PIN number, the account number you can get from original paperwork, from the text messages notifications when payment is received, and the pin you should have from account creation.

Can confirm that Visible port in went through smoothly. I had a TF number that is Verizon but somehow that didn't trigger the "coupon" in their system so no discount Frown

When I got my two XR's, I bought the one first then decided to go for another one and got the second at the cheaper rate. Not sure if you tell them up front you are getting two if you can get both for $90.
