Just make sure you buy this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/324430485602 and use the site NYturbo.com to find the ICCID codes to input and stuff.

I bought this white sim. But inserting it into the phone kicks out to the activation screen then the "SIM not supported" screen. Did you run into this? NYTurbo website says the workaround is to put the white sim in an unlocked iPhone first. But I don't have any unlocked iPhone. :\

Were you able to soft unlock without an existing unlocked iPhone?

I had updated the phone to iOS 15.4. Could that be the problem?

I bought two iPhone 11's from Metro and immediately inserted the white SIM without doing any updates. The phones unlocked successfully.

My friend also bought an iPhone 11 from Metro but he updated it before bringing it to me to get it unlocked. It took me about 30-40 tries constantly inserting and ejecting the SIM. After entering the ICCID and IMSI numbers the setup screen should immediately disappear. You know if it doesn't work when it still shows the setup screen or when it shows "Successfully updated to iOS ##".

The overall process seemed very glitchy. I wouldn't do it again although I am interested to see whether updating the ICCID in an unlocked iPhone would work..

Many thanks, kl3618. I'm seeing exactly what you saw on your friend's phone, including the "Software Update Complete. Your iPhone has been updated to iOS 15.4" screen.

I tried repeatedly just now as you said. Still no luck.

Among the many tries, sometimes there's a prompt that pops up, asking for "(Primary) ICCID". It sits on top of the activation "Hello" screen. That's not where I should enter the ICCID though, right? NYTurbo site and video say to go through Settings, Cellular SIM Applications, so I'm hesitant to enter the ICCID into this activation-level prompt.

Went into best buy and they said they would only give 240 for an iPhone 11. How did others get 450?

For the white sim to work iPhone must be signed into iCloud account. This is often the issue.

The phone is signed in with my Apple ID. Is that what you mean, or is there something else I need to do on iCloud?

Figured it out. Watched other sellers' videos. This first screen is the way. No need to get into Settings Cellular SIM Applications. Phone now successfully unlocked.

Will using white sim to unlock iPhone now mess up with the auto-unlock process 6 months later?

Yes I used the latest ICCID and IMSI. The ICCID of the day doesn't always work though.

3/30: Worked
3/31: (tried to unlock friend's phone) New ICCID on the website did not work
4/1: Another new ICCID, worked
