I just call them and give them the item number. Usually if they don't have it they can also check stock at nearby stores too.

Call the nearby Costco. Give them the item # 1261888 for the pillow. They will be able to tell you how many of them they have in stock. This is important. If the number is < 10, it will be difficult to locate them. If there is no stock in your Costco, they can also tell you which nearby Costco has them in stock.

Just to jump in, idk about Irvine but Fullerton Costco had about 20 left when I went yesterday advertised for $23.99. They were near the entryway with a couple other pillow brands.
