The only problem with these is after a while they get moldy/slimy inside. I bought them for my grand kids and every time after a bath, I take them out of the water and try to squirt all the water out - yet every now and then some black slime will also come out....

Better if you fill them with vinegar & water. Then empty them before use and rinse. Should last a long time if treated with vinegar.

The only problem with these is after a while they get moldy/slimy inside. I bought them for my grand kids and every time after a bath, I take them out of the water and try to squirt all the water out - yet every now and then some black slime will also come out....

There's a video on YouTube on how to clean them. But it's probably a PAIN!

absolutely right - they can be cleaned with vinegar but i hate setting myself up for mandatory mold remediation of $5 items

just my 2 cents, but i was much happier once i got similar bath characters that don't squirt(sealed); and squirting toys that drain when i turn them upside down
