I agree this deal is pretty good but my only hesitation with this multi tool is that it requires a hex wrench to remove the blade. The Ryobi HP Brushless Multi Tool [homedepot.com] is similar to Rigid, Dewalt and Milwakee where there is a quick release handle to remove/attach the blade. If you're using the tool a lot, IMO it becomes a better option if time and ease of switching blades is of any importance to you.

I use multi-tools for small and/or precision cuts. On these types of tools, the blade usually travels about 3mm back and forth. I've often used the tool to cut very clean holes in drywall.

I recently had to repair a water leak. I found the studs, removed the screws, and then cut the drywall right down the middle of the stud and removed a single undamaged piece. Once the water line repair was done, I put the drywall back up (it didn't have any water damage) and had only a small gap to tape and mud.

It's awesome for cutting drywall and flooring/trim. I have no regrets getting it with the 6 tool kit

What uses does a multi-tool have? Just wondering what I could use it for in the future if I get this

I have a corded one that ive used for cutting drywall, soffit and vinyl siding and a few other odd jobs, but honestly it's not something I really use. Others may use it all the time.
That being said if mine was cordless I probably would use it more often. This is a very temping price🤔.

So many uses. Anything where you need to flush cut against a wall. Could use it to pop holes in sheetrock or plywood for light switches. Cutting around pipes in subfloors. Undercutting baseboard when changing out flooring. Out of the ryobi tool set i bought ages ago it's one of my most used tools. Drill, Circular saw and these 2 items

Probably the only tools I'd even want or use in any of those bundles.
