I mixed McCormick Dark Chili Powder with salt and vinegar to make chili paste. It is tasty but I wish it could be hotter. How much hotter is this Ground Cayenne Pepper comparing to McCormick Dark Chili Powder? Or should I mix both of them together? Thanks!

Cayenne pepper is much much hotter than chili powder, at least McCormick. Guessing here, but probably around 10x hotter. Chili powder isn't so much hot as it adds a flavor over heat, whereas cayenne pepper is the opposite, more hot than flavor.
All my opinion of course.
