Owned a wholesale clothing company that dealt with the merchandising manager of this company. They buy crap that's been sitting in shipping containers on Chinese warehousing companies shipping yards for years. Most of the products are unsellable second-quality stuff they buy really cheap in bulk. They can't afford as a company to purchase first-quality in wholesale quantities. Retired now so I don't care that people know lol. This is promoted garbage that you shouldn't waste money on imo. You'll never see this being posted by an actual slickdeal community member. But try it out if you don't believe me. Look how fast this is on the front page.

Not bad at all for $9. I still think they are trying to copy the big brand with most of their athletic wear though. Not much design can really be attributed to them.

Plus they're one of the poster children for rapid offshoring and leaving a US workforce out in the cold. I'm far from a "whargh buy murican!" guy but some of their practices did some pretty big damage. It's like Champion, they're just trading on their old brand reputation now. I still can't figure out if people like this stuff ironically or genuinely…

You can tell the differences between athletic wear brands? (barring obvious but simple tells like the three white stripes ofc)

Some people just want to be clothed. For every knockoff value brand there's a brand selling the same shit from the same factory for 50x the price just because it has a brand logo slapped on it. And morons have the nerve to walka round advertising that brand for the company and pay for the pleasure to be a shill sucker.
