I got mine for free, so it's worked well enough for that.

One design flaw I found was the inability to remove or disable alarms by voice.
I've never found it to be too bright at night, and I sleep with it on the nightstand essentially right next to my head. The adaptive brightness/dimming works well.
The volume is not that impressive as a speaker for music, but it is great for bedside noise to fall asleep to, whether that's a guided sleep meditation, a podcast, or white noise. I also set my bedroom's soundbar (on a chromecast audio, remember those?) as the default speaker for music playback when I want to listen to an audiobook or music at fuller volume while folding laundry or cleaning the bedroom or something.
The interface can be a little clunky to figure out where things are - e.g. finding saved alarms, changing alarm volume but not music volume, etc. Non-standard and very no frills.
The USB charging port in the back doesn't seem to have the oomph to charge my phone overnight. Perhaps for the best, though. Since one of the key reasons I got this was to banish my phone from the bedroom at night.
All in all, if you want an alarm clock that you can yell at to snooze in the morning with a couple of other occasionally useful features. I think it's a great buy at this price, if you understand what it is and what its limitations/best use cases are.

I basically wanted to disable few early alarms when he is on vacation. Everyone in home was up in the morning except him and clock was right next to him.
I checked Lenovo site and they suggested to use clock buttons for that.
