It looks like they took the feedback and created beta firmware for people to test. Now they have an official firmware update to release over the next few weeks. More details here -

In other words, a good time to get this TV!
EDIT: If you do decide to use it at 4k 120hz (before the firmware update is released) with HDR on with your laptop/desktop 3000 series that supports HDMI 2.1, and you experience audio issues/crackling - review this. While its related to the U8G, this basically applies to the U7G as well. https://old.reddit.com/r/Hisense/...ken_audio/
"Right-click speaker icon in tray -> Sounds -> Playback - Make sure sure the TV is set to the default device and then opening its properties. Under the Advanced tab change the default format to 16 bit, 44100 HZ (CD Quality). This completely resolved my issue."
Someone else mentions "24 bit 48000 Hz is working with my U8G for both my 3080 ti and 3060 ti rigs now"

The local dimming and refresh make the biggest differences. As nice as an LG C or G series OLED? No way in hell. But no burn in risk and it's punching well above it's price range.

Does that mean 36.5 length and 10.7 in depth?
I have a 48 in TV stand and I am trying to confirm if it will fit.
Thanks
