Beware that some of these buds have a "ringing" issue while listening to audiobooks or calls. This is not noticeable while listening to music and can only be heard during the above use cases.

If you get a good pair, these are the best ANC IEMs in the market right now and are well worth the price.

You have to go to their music center app and choose ldac. This will set ldac as the default for the applications you choose.

Just returned a set of galaxy bud pros for this exact pair of sonys. My experience is entirely different than the above poster.. the sound quality, ANC, and fitment options are in a league or two above the best Samsung has out right now.

When it comes to default sound quality and mic quality for calls, buds pro are much better. But, these are definitely a better value because of the ANC, better fit and customizable EQ. I cannot use the buds pro for gym (even though it has better IPX rating) because of the fit. These, on the other hand, I bought for gym and outdoor use alone.

I'd believe that, but like i mentioned, somehow Samsung galaxy dont get along with these due to codecs not working and Sony does not include -aptx hd- in MX4 (these buds) WHICH IS A HUGE MISS on sony's part and the output of sound is therefore bluetooth 3.0, LOW (44kpbs)

I did that, downloaded sony app, selected LDAC as well is go under android developer options and force LDAC. but they actually don't sync LDAC

I believe it's a Samsung issue and not a Sony issue. As far as I've seen, Samsung phones revert the codec you choose in developer settings. The work around that worked for me was using the app and selecting the ldac option for select apps. You should Google ways to ensure an Ldac connection for these.

PS: I have a Samsung phone too.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and previously had Note20 Ultra and Note10+. LDAC should work on it. Try this:
  1. Turn on the earbuds
  2. Open the Sony app
  3. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings
  4. Turn on LDAC

I can vouch for the seller, but not for returns. All of my headphones and earbuds look like they were taken out of the glossy boxes and put into a plain box. And ever worked as expected. Don't understand how they have access to the stuff they get, but nothing I've purchased looked to have been used at all.

Bought these for $180ish a few months ago. Very happy with them. Small, great ANC, and comfortable. I know some complain it doesn't fit right, but I found that only occurred when they are not placed properly. There's kind of an angled twist to position them in, and they're very secure and comfortable if done right.

I much prefer these over the Bose QC Earbuds; they had almost as good ANC, but just too big/bothersome when I rest the side of my face on the pillow. With these, I barely feel they're their and can rest comfortably with them in.

They were for me. The size of the case and buds alone made a difference. Wireless charging and my XM3 had an annoying buzz sound on phone calls that would go away after l turned off and on the BT on the phone. Annoying but I dealt with it. These just worked.
