What? I have re-read this message 3 times and still don't understand your recommendation.

What does it mean for a TV to be "all spaced out"?
Where do you see a quality 85 inch OLED for $2,700.00?
What does a surround sound package of $1,700.00 have to do with any of this?
What math are you leveraging to conclude with $1,200.00?

Great price, warranty alone is worth it. 4 year with burn in protection would cost you well over $600+ at Best Buy. This also comes at a cheaper price and a gift card!

As the 2021's get cleared out, deals will be sparse but will definitely still be out there. Generally the previous years' TV stock runs dry by around Memorial day although who knows with the pandemic, shipping delays, etc. You might be able to find a little better, but I wouldn't expect a dramatic improvement from here as this is a pretty solid price when factoring in the warranty burn-innty plus GC. With that said, LG did provide me a free panel replacement for burn-in on my 2017 65C7 last month (it was within 4 years of purchase) but there was no guarantee they'd do that in the future. Also for reference, a local retailer in the SF Bay Area was selling 77C1s for $2499 and 77G1s for (includes 5 year burn-in warranty) $2899 before the Superbowl. They couldn't advertise it due to manufacture agreements but if you called in or asked in store, that was the price they'd sell it for (I grabbed a 77G1).

I wonder if the Amazon beach camera deal is good? It also comes with burn in warranty and I don't pay taxes so it is 2752 all in for the 77 inch.

Yep, that's who I was referring to. I assume LG has a minimum advertised price requirement in their contracts as literally everyone (Costco, Best Buy, B&H, Video Only, etc.) all had the same sale price for the Superbowl ($2899 for a 77C1). With that said, we know their actual invoice is lower as EPP had them for as low as $2299. Video Only was selling them for $2499 (formally it was with trade in of any old TV, but that wasn't being enforced). I went G1 for various reasons and am very happy with it so far (and still love my 65C7 that I got from Fry's in 2018 for $1899).
