Interesting if you need a deeper shelving unit to hold some really large or heavy stuff. Bakeries to store sacks of flour? DIYers to hold cement, soil, etc?

Personally, I'm still really hoping the $38 deal comes back so I can go wall to wall but I can def see why some people would need this depth instead of doubling up on the smaller ones. Seems like a decent deal to me price-wise for what it is if you're in the market for this size. Esp considering retail prices at Amazon, HD, WM for shelving units have really gone up during Covid and sales seem to be very scarce and unreliable imo.

Thanks for sharing OP~

These are double the area of the 16 x 36 x 72 wire shelves that Walmart sells/sold for $38 each. Those have a capacity of 1750 lbs.

Once all the concrete cures where the 12x12 hot tub used to be, I'll need a few of these, but I think I'll hold out for a better sale. Hopefully soon...

These are significantly deeper than the Costco ones. I think those were 18". The additional depth might be helpful if you want to use it as a grow rack for seedlings or plants (4 1020 flats per shelf). I liked that the Costco ones came with both wheels and feet so they could be split into two half-height racks.

I need a bunch of these for a new move in May. But I am not liking the price. They look like really nice shelves though. I hope I see other offers come through on SDs that are less. The shelving that I am leaving in this house is built in, in the basement. New owners will have it made, but it leaves me with nothing to store basement items in, so I will be on the lookout. Thank you, OP- the shelves look beautiful and well made, but out of my price range.

I have three of these and they're great but I just don't remember paying this much for them...

You have no idea what you are talking about. Just about everything is still in short supply, especially commercial and industrial stuff. Lead times for most products still are significantly higher than they were 18 months ago. Pricing is significantly higher for everything too.

All the ships have NOT 'been unloaded'. Most of them were simply pushed beyond the horizon, making things even worse as that allowed all the ships to run on bunker, substantially increasing pollution being generated while adrift.
Don't forget about the continuing staffing issues a lot of companies are having.

Supply's are back to normal
Or past normal all the ships have been unloaded and warehouses are full
Some furniture is like a year out from order date. I'm still waiting on a couch I ordered 6 months ago. The new playstations and xboxs released a year ago and you still can't walk into a store and buy one.

Supplies are not back to normal.

My work has the 18x48 version of this brand. Here's the photo I posted in yesterday's metal rack thread - https://i.imgur.com/sRY1Klb.jpeg
