Read the What's Included - This only includes 1 speaker, but 2 grills. BB support has verified this item is for one speaker. You can get the set of 2 speakers on Polks site for $650.

on the best buy site linked, under answered questions, it states (by Polk) that these are for a pair of speakers.

Considering that the MSRP is $749.99 and that singles aren't for purchase, this is most likely not the case.

Near field or less space: R100
Large room or enough space: R200

R200 can survive well without a subwoofer. R100 needs a sub.

For $500, you can also get KEF Q350.
I'd choose R200 over Q350 and R100.

While they are both speakers, they are quite different in size and sound, and thus not directly comparable.
For deals, the JBLs are definitely deeper discounted.
