I wont give my money to a company bent on scamming everyone they can. Has literally nothing to do with amazon.

The Crucial P5 Plus is plenty fast enough. 6600MB/s reads. (PS5 wants 5500MB/s). Just make sure to add a heatsink to your order (I like the Sabrent one)

Firecuda 520 is 5000MB/s, so that would be pushing it.

Coupon works on the 2TB Crucial P5 Plus...$207.99.

EDIT: See it in the title now but not in the body. That seems like a very good price, no? Better per GB than the 1TB which is in the body.

Turns out it doesn't matter much:

Get the cheapest quality drive you can buy and don't worry about the speed.

No, they don't. You're being a bit dramatic. I've personally never had a problem with Newegg in the years I've used them, and they've even come in great handy being one of the only few places to buy Computer parts, at reasonable prices (other than the recent GPU stuff of course.)

Yes, not everybody has the same experience, and I acknowledge that, and believe that it's at a percentage that isn't acceptable. What they did was dirty, but I doubt intentional (in that specific Gamers Nexus scenario), and was handled poorly.

Am I a bit salty and trying to avoid Newegg right now? Sure. But I did also just pick up some fans at a great price... They got exposed, and already begun changing their terms, hopefully it means they're going in the right direction... What more do you want?

Is this just a coincidence that Backblaze released an SSD failure report that Crucial and Seagate had highest failure rates
