TBW - 3600TB
MTBF - 1.8M hours
This is standard info that continously gets skipped in the title/description.
And in this case the relatively good TBW rating is one of the attractive considerations of buying this unit if using it
for some kind of frequently written application like backups, journal, cache, whatever.

Amazon had a screaming deal on the Crucial CT2000P5PSSD8 for $161 yesterday. I'd hold off and see what comes up as we get closer to Black Friday. The TBW is impressive but probably overkill for a gaming drive.
More specs for the Seagate if anyone is interested.
Controller: Phison PS5016-E16
Chips: Toshiba 96L TLC
DRAM: DDR4

I don't see the point of this aging drive when top tier 4th Gen with full bandwidth is available for not much more.
Seagate Firecuda SSDs were always overpriced but engineered well for high durability. But outside of data centers, that makes no difference. They are getting discounted steeply now but still not price competitive.
Still loads my MS FS 2020 and all the add-ons in seconds.
