Are you sure it's a manual focus lens, OP? Specs say it has autofocus.

Adorama says it has autofocus- not sure why manual focus is listed here.

Lens review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPZJ72ONb8s

In short:
- the autofocus is slow and quite noisy, but works
- significant amount of purple fringing at f1.8
- soft image in the corners at f1.8

If they have a Photoshop profile for this lens (I am not sure they have it), with a 1 button, you can take of purple fringing. How is it compared to Canon EP 85 mm quality?

Canon's 85/1.8 EF is better in just about every way. Faster, quieter AF, less fringing, fairly sharp throughout. But of course, considerably higher price.

Canon EF 85mm is not that much higher price if you go used. And I would trust a used Canon over a new cheap noname lens like this one.

cheap is relative, and it's better to just state your price range.

Back when I bought my first Canon rebel, I thought my 55-250mm took nice shots at the zoo.

If that's a photo of the lens in the post, there's an AF/MF switch on the body.
