Note that this keyboard is not compatible with the Unifying receiver that has been included with several of their mice and keyboards, including the MX Keys (full size) and MX Master mice. This keyboard is compatible with the Bolt receiver instead, but it is not included and costs $14.99 separately.

Not having the Bolt receiver is probably fine for most people, but this means you may not be able to use this keyboard until your OS starts up and connects via Bluetooth, meaning you might not be able to access BIOS for example.

Weird. My full size MX Keys kb supports unify receivers.

There are now two versions of this keyboard. The original Unifying receiver version and the new business oriented Logi Bolt version. They are not cross compatible so yours will only connect to the Unifying receiver

I guess the purpose of the bolt is that it is secure? Ridiculous that they aren't making USB-C options.

To add insult to injury, I've seen a few posts indicating that they interfere with each other and cause lag.
By the way, this does NOT come with a Logi Bolt dongle. If you were to keep it, you would have had to either use BT or purchase it separately ($15) if you prefer USB connection.
