Yes size 3 is perhaps most needed size across babies. Babies stay in size 3 and even 4 for a long time. Other sizes especially 1 and to some extent 2 transition fast. Size 5...depends on how big your young toddler is and how quickly you potty train. Many don't end up using 6 at all.

Hope this helps.
I never realized and appreciated how many baby deals there were until now that I'm about to have my own. Thanks for posting the heads up, gonna need every bit of those savings!
Yes, I believe diaper sizes usually last longer (without the need to size up) as they go higher in numbers, but don't be afraid to size up. I've always sized up a little before my baby got to the recomended weight, because I felt they fit better and have more absorbing capacity.
Also, I recommend Huggies Overnites for night time. And evn sizing up. Even after over a year My baby wakes about 2 times each night for breastfeeding and these ones have been great at preventing disaster. BTW I usually aso size up even with the overnites, in fact I feel it more important. Having your baby wake in the middle of the night and in need of diaper and clothes change is terrible for everyone.

I stocked up a few of every size 1-4 last Aug. didn't buy anymore after that in the Nov Dec deals. I guess I'm ready for some more. My baby seems to want to stay in size 3 for a longer time.
Will be a year in 2 months.
Do babies stay in a size longer than the others? First time parent questions!!!

Also it would've been nice if there were a few extra absorbent types also from Kirkland. My kid seems to have a full diaper very quickly overnight.

End rant.

Thanks op for posting. Will keep my eye out.

here's sizes 3-6
https://www.costco.com/kirkland-s...66695.html
size 3 - 16-28 pounds, 7-13kg - 222ct = 16.2c/ct
size 4 - 22-37 pounds, 10-17kg - 198ct = 18.2c/ct

sams club is $35 any day of the week
https://www.samsclub.com/p/member...od25562065
size 4 - 210ct = 16.7c/ct

i would say more chance of rash with kirkland, and the sticky tabs are very 'keen' which can get annoying when wrapping them up for disposal.

we buy both Kirkland and Huggies plus from Costco when they go on sale. Kirkland for "daytime" use and Huggies for night time since they're way more absorbent (blessed he sleeps through the night currently). Maximizes the utility from both brands.

Found Huggies+ runs a little smaller than Kirkland so ours 16mo is 4 Kirkland and 5 Huggies+

My first stayed in size 3 forever too. Used size four for a few months and then was potty trained after that.

My second has always been a little chubby and he's been in size 4 for awhile and that seems to be his long lasting size.

We size up at night since he's in it longer than during the day. He wears 4's during the day and a 5 at night. Works pretty well! And yes, very common for them to stay in one size longer than others 👍
