Some of the Trade in Values are much less this time (XR down to $250 and iP11 down to $350). . .some are higher like $640 for Galaxy S21 trade in. Perfect if you got the XR cheap 2 months ago, traded in for clearance S21, which can be traded in + $60 for an iP13. Can't trade the S21 on the base iP13 mini as TIV exceeds phone purchase price, but you could do it on the 256GB version.
The $640 Trade in Value on the S21 is as big a deal as the $100 off the iPhone.
And the $640 TIV seems good towards most TMO phones over $640, i.e. S22 line, Pixel 6
EDIT: $640 TIV is only for $128GB of S21. 256GB version fetches only $420. QA Note: The $640 is only for the Black S21 color. The other colors are $420

1) Buy iP13 from BB; leave store with sealed box.
2) Put into new iP13 the T-mobile SIM card associated with the number I entered into BB.com for my purchase. Activate iP13.
3) Contact T-Force via facebook and ask that my new iP 13 be unlocked.
4) Wait several days for unlock to be completed.
There are other ways, including unlocking via AT&T. However, I am not familiar with that process. Pls read the previous post. It was explained there by someone who took that route.
Please note that with these BB iPhone, it's locked to the carrier associated with the FIRST (1st) SIM card that you put into the phone. Unlocking will have to be worked through with that carrier.
A) If the first SIM card you put into the new iP is a T-Mobile SIM card, then you will need to deal with T-Mobile for the unlocking.
B) If the first SIM card you put into the new iP is an AT&T SIM card, then you will need to deal with AT&T for the unlocking ... not a simple process. See prior post.
C) If the first SIM card you put into the new iP is something neither T-Mobile nor AT&T, it will likely be quite difficult to get this phone unlocked..
In my opinion, best way to go is to put in T-Mobile SIM card as the first SIM card and then deal with T-Mobile since this is a T-Mobile deal.
Their systems are all hosed. Do yourself a favor, don't try this.

blue shirt found the trade-in item is S21ultra and black shirt (manager?) was also nearby, I put my phone in front of them and placed another same order on BB website and showed them $640 TIV, they agreed and honored me the order. I haven't signed any paperwork, but they indeed handed me a customer copy of trade-in confirmation which showing S21 (not ultra) on it. Walked out with a ip13 in about 20mins.
I'd say it's a slickdeal if it worked out, but highly YMMV
