IMHO, it's worth the extra for the KP-125 model that has energy monitoring features. Those are $14.99 at Best Buy right now. They integrate with the Sense energy monitoring system that was installed alongside our solar panels.

We installed solar 5 years ago. It paid for itself 2 years ago. We charge two electric cars, run pool pump, etc. Our bill last month was -$45. It's kind of a no brainer from financial perspective alone, this is SD after all..

Bought these a couple years back. They are awesome and work great. Use them with Alexa to reset my crappy Wyze cameras whenever they stop working.

You should check again, prices for solar in our area fall 10-20% a year, while electricity goes up by even more..

Last I checked, solar has gone up about 15-20% in our area. This is consistent across multiple vendors that we previously got pricing from.

I like these but the only downside for me is that you can only set 4 smart actions regardless of how many plugs you own

Which state? Several states have laws that state that HOA cannot ban solar panels - may be worth checking again if you are interested in solar

That's awesome, and if I were in a state like that I would almost certainly have panels and an electric car or 2. Unfortunately the math is nothing like that for the vast majority of us.
