IMHO, it's worth the extra for the KP-125 model that has energy monitoring features. Those are $14.99 at Best Buy right now. They integrate with the Sense energy monitoring system that was installed alongside our solar panels.

Thanks for the deal. IMHO, not everyone has solar panels and needs the soy-boi integration with them.
We installed solar 5 years ago. It paid for itself 2 years ago. We charge two electric cars, run pool pump, etc. Our bill last month was -$45. It's kind of a no brainer from financial perspective alone, this is SD after all..

Where do you live? Sunny skies Arizona? Or cloudy skies Ohio

It's a 2 pack! Thank you. Some of us live in HOA communities where solar panels are forbidden.

Bought these a couple years back. They are awesome and work great. Use them with Alexa to reset my crappy Wyze cameras whenever they stop working.

Not for everyone. Last I checked, average ROI was like 10 years or something.

You should check again, prices for solar in our area fall 10-20% a year, while electricity goes up by even more..

I can verify these are (HS103V5) 15 amps, the older ones were 12 amps. The 4 pack is $25 after a $2 coupon. https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Ka...=hi&sr=1-2

Last I checked, solar has gone up about 15-20% in our area. This is consistent across multiple vendors that we previously got pricing from.

I like these but the only downside for me is that you can only set 4 smart actions regardless of how many plugs you own

Which state? Several states have laws that state that HOA cannot ban solar panels - may be worth checking again if you are interested in solar

A negative bill is the clue that you probably live in Cali or another state with net metering that allows you to have a negative bill and/or sell power back to the electric company. That's awesome, and if I were in a state like that I would almost certainly have panels and an electric car or 2. Unfortunately the math is nothing like that for the vast majority of us.
