It does have a middle leg in the center. Maybe 8" from the back edge. Patience is needed for assembly

I assemble these stands for Walmart. I WOULD NOT place that amount of weight on it without adding wood glue to all the joining edges and adding some 1"x1" to the corners for support

I'm a risk taker and use those $30 furinno tv stands from amazon, have several 50"-65" TVs and they've held up a couple years so far. And they're made from cork board and plastic tube poles. Only issue is they're a bit short, so if your bed is high, the bottom view of tv may be a bit obstructed. Although I do worry if there's an earthquake, chance it may tip over

Good deal for $99 even if it is MDF. I recently made a coffee table with 2x4's and plywood. It costs me around $130 in material alone.
