well I don't get paid to be here, nor would I catch every one of these paid fake china spams. would u guys be more proactive in taking care of this in your own? I mean... I would do more in terms. of helping if someone paid me to do it, just like the users are. being paid to post those 'deals'

I can tell you that we are very proactive, but we can't catch them all.In the end, this community is only as good as it's users help making it, so if more people would alert even 1 a day, I think it would make a significant difference

I heard these high price heirloom things can be had at estate sale if you do yard works like me in those swanky neighborhoods.

Yard sale is a good start and some towns have annual event. I think we got 3 different size cast iron pans for $5 and all 3 were in pretty good shape.

I've got a couple cheaper enameled cast iron pots from Slickdeals for $30-50. Mine have dimpled lids and cast iron handles. The white interiors show wear but they are several years old and are used often.

I just can't imagine a reason to spend $200 more when I know the enamel on these le creuset show wear with similar use.
