i have Westone W60, and also W80 (along with Sony WM1Z hifi player).
YES, the W80 is so much better than W60.

I got these on sale last time for $389.99 ($449.99 - $60 PayPal coupon).
I like them. Very comfortable to wear and the sound improvement is significant from my Shure SE215, AirPod Pro and Sony wm-1000xm3

Yes the n5005s were terrible. I sent them back. No matter what I did the sound was pretty sterile sounding. No warmth at all.

Is there a substantial difference between this and the Westone B50(which I purchased 2 months ago)?
I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I can hear the difference between my Galaxy Bud Pro/Shure SE215 vs the Westone B50s.
Listening to music is not the same as enjoying it, and I've really enjoyed hearing the instrumentals sound so much clearer and distinct (like a high hat in Jazz).

Just wondering if anyone has used both? Is it worth the upgrade?

KZ was just exposed for lying about their BA actually being wired and utilized in their 4BA 1DD models by people who took them apart. If you're not purchasing the lowest tier, you're basically giving them money for extra bits that don't work. Wouldn't support that company or give too good to be true priced chinese IEM companies in the future.

That was in December 2021. The PayPal coupon expired already. It was $60 off $300 for Adorama. I'm sure these will go on sale again. The price kept going lower last year.
