The real question is how much more you'll get out of these than any number of hybrids under Linsoul's umbrella (and a few others as well but Linsoul covers... 90% of chifi brands). IEM's are a race to the bottom these days. Everyone is on a mission to pack as much tech and value in an ever cheaper (expense wise, not quality wise) package. There are still a handful of brands that focus on premium products only, but even then... it's often a 3-5% difference to the "cheaper" models, and often those cheaper models come with the same cables, cases, etc. Westone does nothing to prop up their asking price, imo.
I mean do a sweep across youtube and see how many creators "in the hobby" give Westone *any* time at all. The industry has moved on, and left Westone behind. Even Shure is putting out amazing stuff now *under the brands Shouer and LetShouer*. You can't put out the same product over and over anymore without deeply undercutting your own prices. The competition is far too fierce.
*Also look at the frequency response graph for this set... it's hilarious.* Totally anemic bass, shouty mids, tame treble..... it might be good for.... actual monitoring work, but it's questionable there too, definitely not going to have a natural playback without heavy eq'ing
