In for 1 @ $1,262.13 out the door after 10% off. I have the 34" Alienware now, but it is an LED LCD. Looking forward to the upgrade in PQ.

It does make sense though. At that distance, the perceived difference in game between 1440p and 4k is negligible at best. Outside of a video game, like photo/video editing, or software development, that's a very different subject. So 1440p with 120fps feels much better than 4k at 75fps.
On a 34 in screen, the difference between 4k and 2k is huge and easily noticeable to the eye from a close distance.

It's a great price for a new tech. Imo, well worth the extra money from their Lcd Aw34xx.
Warranty is good, but just be aware any replacement later will be a refurbished. And it's not as easy as old days. Test it extensively within the return window.

How long does it take to receive the 10% coupon?
Took me roughly 45 minutes this time. It's been up to a couple hours in the past.

Agreed. Should have been just a nice 27 inch 1440p monitor. Truly the sweet spot. Once you go to 30+ you really need that 4k rez or everything just looks kinda fuzzy.

Yes!!! 27" 1440p is the way

I'd also like to add that for picture quality, glossy is the way. Thankfully oled is always glossy 👍

I am waiting to see some real reviews on this monitor. I love OLED tv's and would love to have that type of contrast for gaming on PC. I have a Acer Predator Z35P now and I love it but it can't touch OLED contrast levels. I had originally bought the Alienware 34" IPS ultrawide but the contrast was so bad I returned it immediately.

I am going to hold off for full reviews but this is tempting.

Thanks OP. Got one for 1254.00 + getting 5% CB from Wells Fargo Visa. Been waiting a long time for a OLED monitor!

On something this small, 4k is certainly a waste. But on a 55 inch plus screen it certainly isn't. I myself am a couch gamer. Not really into the mouse keyboard face one foot away from the screen deal. 4k is mandatory.
I cant tell a difference between 1080p and 4k on my 55" OLED from my couch and its not surprising:

4k viewing distance [rtings.com].

You could have above average eyesight or a small room though.

As someone who games on a 4K 120Hz LG OLED currently I'm buying this specifically because it's NOT 4K.

Idk if you guys realize how difficult it is to run 4K 120Hz on a modern game. I have a 3090 and even then I usually run 4K 60Hz because it can't get a stable 120fps. With this monitor at 1440p though, I'll be able to run higher refresh just fine. 34" 1440p 175Hz OLED is the perfect gaming monitor imo.

Is anyone bothered by the fact that this panel seems to not be actual 1440p? From the Dell tech specs:

Native Resolution
3440 x 1400 (DisplayPort: 175 Hz, HDMI: 100 Hz)

Agreed. I am still going to wait a bit. I am currently upgrading my PC to a 12700k and 3080. I have a custom water cooled loop with hard tubing I am still working on finishing up. I should have it done this month. Hopefully by then there will be reviews on this monitor. I have considered getting a LG C1 but like others have already said 4k/120hz is extremely difficult to drive. A 3080 won't be able to handle that for most AAA titles. I have a 55" curved OLED now that I was considering using with my PC but it is 60hz only. Going back to 60hz after using a 120hz monitor is a definite step backwards.

Wow shipping time jumped 40 days just now. So glad i hit the buy button when i did could have done it faster but that stupid coupon took a while. This screen will be sold out in a week its a perfect gaming monitor. The price is just right and its most likely going to be way more reliable than those samsung 49" ultrawide monitors that only last for a year.
