thanks for posting this laconic Smilie .. I notice when I click on the link it says a "members only deal" so not sure if you need a costco membership to buy it? I know when I got my TCL TV on sale from Costco they charged me a bit more as a non-Costco member but let me buy it...

I am wondering the same thing. If you have to do a lot of work off the battery without access to charging it might be worth it.

For office work, I think this would be a better deal because of the extras. But the other laptop is still a good deal if you need a touch screen.

For kids, I'd get the touchscreen (this OP), otherwise, the one you mention, all because of the higher resolution screen.
