This is a Spatula and that is the only word we will be using for it in our house.

Add "Spatula" to the title OP, I know this is somehow outdated/incorrect terminology but a lot of us doing speak "turner" Smilie

Got these a year ago. Really like them. Holding up well and I put them in the dishwasher regularly.

When the wife yells at me for buying more spatulas, I'll simply say that these are "turners"! Yes!

These are very good BUT for some things I prefer my old plastic spatula because these are SO SLIPPERY. For some things I can imagine this being fantastic but I often have trouble with things sliding off earlier than I want.

Fish and eggs approved. Have the small one and it works great.

I own several OXO brand spatulas.

getting these since they are on sale. This is a well known kitchenware brand. Highly recommended.

I don't own plastic spatulas but I would think there would be concern of melting. I do use wooden spatulas when making scrambled eggs or for stir fry, those work well too.

If you want cheap, go to dollar tree. They're crappy. These are good quality. As you get older and wiser, you learn that quality is worth paying for.

I already have one of these small size OXO spatulas and love it, definitely buying this set right now. They're great, even have given as gifts.

I had regular plastic spatulas, but they get deformed/melt at the tips from the heat. I replaced with the small OXO spatula and its much more durable for the heat. The silicone eventually cracked for me but it lasted 4+ years.
