This seems like a decent deal if you need a laptop now for a good solid 3060 / i7 11th gen - esp if you like a 17" display. You'd love for it to have a 1TB SSD instead of 512GB, and maybe more ports than it does, and a minor nit, website says it tops out at 32GB (which is fine for the majority of users).

Don't know about how good the display quality is, 144Hz refresh rate seems reasonable for this price range:

Unsure what TGP is...but it's probably ok

Seems like a good deal but looking down the full specs the GPU only goes up to 95w maximum wattage and the display is only 55% sRGB but at least it is 300 nits for brightness so it's not dim. Those are my 2 cents otherwise still decent deal

GPU wattage?
I read somewhere that the 3070 version of this has 100watt TDP could likely be the same here. There are a few bad reviews on this from Amazon stating QA issues.

There is always a problem with the chassis on the corners on previous models. Have an older version and they still haven't fixed it after all these years. Very flimsy on your bottom screen frame along with the sides close to the bend will pop open. While it's a decent price I would say pass on this chassis style from acer.

If you have access to Costco, I would recommend spending another $150 for a better chassis, thermals, TB4, and a smoother return process if needed with the GE76. You do lose out on the 2.5" bay, which the Acer has, but the GE76 does not.

I think your right. I forgot about that one. I need to add that to top of my i7-11800H wish list.

3060 Laptop GPU
Up to 1802MHz Boost Clock, 130W Maximum Graphics Power
So in theory with 130W capability in 2 years or so you could upgrade to newer 4000 (5000) series since motherboard does 130W and power adapter is 240W ??

Like you said it also has Thunderbolt 4. Also Killer WiFi 6E AX1675 (2x2 ) with BT 5.2

I have this same exact problem. Is there a fix for this?

Hey OP, they are back in stock for the same price. You may wanna unmarked this as an expired deal

Is this touchscreen? I can't find anything that says that it is, but I also can't find anything that says it isn't. Want to err on the safe side and say no but just want to make sure
