I got a refurb from a previous deal. Always looking to add new friends to play with
"Meta also announced that, starting sometime in 2022, Quest 2 users will no longer be required to login with Facebook to use the headset. New users will not need to link their Facebook account to their headset and existing users will be able to unlink their Facebook account while retaining all their account content and purchases."
Ive owned VR since the Rift CV1 days and the hardware you get for the price of this headset is incredible. Contractors is hands down my favorite game. Its a COD PvP style game that now supports custom maps such as COD and Halo maps due to this the game now takes up a good 15gb of the 50gb available on the 64gb headset (os takes about 10gb). Id personally spend the extra $50 for the 128gb if you're a big gamer

We used my wife's Facebook account for the referral and the quest 2 setup. The account setup requires the Oculus mobile app.
The referral didn't go through so I got on support through the mobile app. I had to send a screenshot of the referrals screen on the mobile app along with the username of the account. The referrer had to do the same, but they just sent it to me.
After some light scolding from the CSR we got the referral credit which was visible I'm the store within 30 minutes. We bought the Amazon refurb for reference.
