Not really a concern for 1080p gaming. You aren't going to be maxing new games out on a 3050ti anyways. 4gb is actually the perfect amount of vram for this card.
Turn a few things down a bit and this thing will play anything. You just cannot be one of those "I need to play at 100+fps" people
My issue is the lack of storage space and I would add another ram stick.

I have this laptop and did the 8gb upgrade. It was easy. Get a Philips screw driver. Take the screws off. Get a plastic pry or a credit card, and slowly wedge it open. Once open, take the sticker off where the ram is and install the ram. Make sure you self discharge on a piece of metal steel or iron before doing this work. Easy upgrade. Gives it a little pop when lots of apps are open. Otherwise, it's barely noticeable with the additional 8gb ram doing normal stuff.
