It's called a sale. Lots of people beat Costco prices all the time on lots of different things.

Can confirm for Premier. I ordered the Windows download and received links for both versions. The Product Key that Newegg emailed activated on my Mac.

Same situation and looking into this as well. From my understanding, it is recommended to file taxes and you can carry the expenses for possible tax deduction to the following year. Hope someone else can chime in and clarify.
From what I understand, sole-proprietor LLCs can claim business losses against regular income, but only for 2 years every 5 (rule may have gotten waived for pandemic).

Don't forget to check if free filing options will work for you before committing to TurboTax.

Also thumbs down because this is through Newegg. They won't be getting a penny from me unless they are absolutely the only retailer that has something I need. I had already swore them off but Gamers Nexus/JayzTwocents and other reputable journalists/personalities really blew the lid off that company's shadiness.

Also remember this only includes state DOWNLOAD, not file online. Basically you will have to print and mail them by yourself using the free links in the wiki.

Waste of Money - OLT.com is FREE federal e-file and only charges about $12 to file state. Most people waste their money on turbotax

You need an amended tax form 1040-x.

Just a warning, if you have carryover foreign tax credits, intuit has said they will not support the calculation in any product this year, and even the form to do it by hand won't be available in TT until March 31st. Every year it's something stupid. I'm done with TurboTax.

But does OLT.com give you the option of automatically importing various docs from investment firms/crypto (Chase, Coinbase, etc.) and run the numbers for you? This has been the biggest issue for me trying to move off TT. Other services like Jackson Hewitt, H&R Block, whoever, don't seem to easily handle the electronic import of many standard investment tax documentation... you have put information in yourself, sometimes including original purchase dates/prices, etc., that can be very tedious to gather manually.

Every year I would buy a physical copy. Once I am done filing mine, I would give to my dad so he can do his taxes

How would I accomplish this, if it's a download and not a physical copy?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I have always used TT Deluxe online and it ends up being close to $100 for federal plus state e-file. I do online because it carrys over details from previous years and stores them for when 8 need it.

My question is, if I get one of these downloads from Newegg or Costco, would it import data from my previous years so I don't have to type everything that's already there in the online version and will the filing be archived online so I have all the records of filing as backup with TT for me to access in the future?
TIA

information rolls over from one year to the next... don't think they allow import. Only takes 1 minute to enter, not complicated
