Good game, not great. Forza is better. I watched trailers and expected a 120fps masterpiece, my expectations were way too high.

Whoever engineered the audio did a terrible job. A gt350 sounds like a Carolla, tires all sound the same, interior noise in most cars is identical, and I've yet to find a vehicle that sounds like the actual car. When they said they walked the tracks, analyzed every turn, looked at environmental conditions as the sun set, I figured the audio engineer would youtube the vehicles exhaust note to somewhat get it correct.

Driving aids are annoying to have to change, the braking are is frustrating compared to the adaptive braking line on Forza 7. The lack of adjustments to stability/traction control/abs is frustrating.

Also, with a controller like the PS5s, no clutch? Seriously?
No brake fade, no clutch, exaggerated resistance on gas pedal. I expected a more polished experience. The cinematics are great, history is great, but side by side with Forza, it's more engaging playing Forza.

Hoping for updates and patches to add corrections. (Tons of little things are wrong)

Comparison. It's annoying how FM7 is that close at 5+years old.

Can't trust that you know anything about cars when you think the Toyota car is the same as the podcasters last name.

Microtransactions are fine for a free to play game, not a game that already costs $70.
I have to say, the in game microtransaction are very useless, you can make what they ask for 3 dollar in just 10 min of playing time. So the game is designed in a way not pushing you to buy any credit at all, you never run out of money to buy car, and the game gives you everything you need to progress.
It's only there for the ultra rich who doesn't care about throwing money away to buy cars they want immediately without playing.

I think humble bundle racing offers more discount to be applied to this deal. 20%.
I assume that discount can only be applied at thrustmaster's site, and when I checked a few days ago trying to BUY there just showed me a bunch of retailers.

So I also assume they sold out, making that 20% off worthless.

Nevermind, looks like only the xbox version isn't available. PS version is available.

Forza would be great if not for all the convoluted flashy bullshit and dialog. I don't want a story, I want a racing game.

Solid deal if you want both. I got the T248 from Newegg for Christmas for $399 + $50 gift card. Used the GC to purchase GT7 (plus another $25 after tax), and it just arrived a few days ago.

They cut back on race rewards and upped costs for paid credits. Classic squeeze play that everyone should care about because it's going to get worse if they can get away with it. At this point the game feels like one of those free to play craps with a paltry amount of content that isn't trickled out to you, except you pay a full $70 for it.
Seriously asking, not trying to be a smart ass, but have you actually played the game? They literally trickle content out to you as you play through the Cafe Menus (I'm personally on menu #24 I think) and increase your collector level. You unlock:
- Cars
- Tracks
- Pavilions (Missions, Scapes, GT Auto, Historic Car Seller, etc…)
- Helmets and racing suits
- Roulette Tickets (though the chances of hitting a better reward aren't that great)

Content:
- Cafe Menu Races & Activities
- License Tests
- Track Experience
- Missions
- Music Rally
- Online Races

The only aspect of GT7 that I'm actually truly disappointed in is the local split screen multiplayer. No access to your garage, just a set of like 10-15 pre-determined cars to choose from and the awful side-by-side screen instead of top/bottom. GT Sport also had side-by-side split screen, but at least they let me pick my garage cars.

Overall I'm happy with GT7. I go back and forth between wheel and controller depending on if I want to pull out the racing seat or not.

Come back when you complete the menus and find out the best grind is only one race. It's not a bad game… but come on if you ever want to see most of the content that's the only one that makes sense to spend your time on. The rest is peanuts. There will be people dumb enough to pay for the overpriced credits which is what they are counting on. Rest of us have to grind like a minimum wage job. Sounds fun to no one without nostalgia and new game goggles on. Anyway you can fav cars to add to split screen.

Agreed regarding grinding that 1 course for $100k over and over again (I do it twice each day for the the daily workout).

Btw THANK YOU for the favorites tip! Not ideal vs having your whole garage available, but now I can uninstall GT Sport, which I was keeping around just for local multiplayer. Life saver!! Or should I say, hard drive space saver!
