Many Tello StackSocial deals have been posted over the past 2+ years. This is the lowest per-line price on the 6-month 2GB plan in a long time. You need to buy their two-line bundle.
2GB high-speed data is monthly, and with Tello you get unlimited 2G data after you've used your high-speed allotment.
1. Buy $50 of StackSocial credit for $40 [stacksocial.com]. The credit showed up immediately in my account.
2. Buy Tello Value Prepaid 6-Month Plan: Unlimited Talk/Text + 2GB LTE Data (2 Account Bundle) [stacksocial.com]. (This deal is not eligible for coupons, but store credit can be used.)
3. During checkout, make sure to check the box to use your $50 credit.
$40 for the credit plus $29 (after credit) for the Tello bundle, plus tax on the Tello bundle = $69 plus tax total.

Tello Dollars are different. You get those for using a referral when creating a new Tello account. You could then use the Tello Dollars for month 7 or month 13 depending on the plan.

Ohhhh Damnnn... It is that $40 Stacksocial and not Tello credit. Misread it. So I can use that on any eligible Stacksocial item?
Will only work for that 2 line bundle deal.

You will not have an opportunity to port your number at this stage. If you want to keep your number, you will do that after you receive the SIM and activate it.
Personally, I would then set up a separate Tello account for the second line. Get the referral code from your first line and use it when creating the second account. Then the first line will have $20 in Tello Dollars and the second line will have $10. Let me know if you also want advice about rolling data after the 6 months ends.

From Tello FAQ - Tello SIMs purchased on tello.com need to be activated by the Customer in the tello.com online account within 30 days from purchase, otherwise the SIM will expire and it will be unusable for future activations.
So possibly this means 30 days to sign up for account using stacksocial code, then another 30 days to activate Tello SIM. I'm going to test it out. Wish me luck!
So, it seems that you cannot apply $50 credit to this order.
