It's been going between $599 and $649 in this last week alone. Good price relatively but not slick. Availability and slight down-pressure on prices are here now. (source: r/buildapcsales posts from the last week)

It's been a day and a half since it was first $599.99 on Newegg. Source: /r/ buildapcsales guy saw my thread on here and posted to reddit 4 hrs later. Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc...&context=3 and yes this deal is still slick.

How is something slick when it is the average price for 4 to 5 deals in the week? Regardless this one sold out

You cant extrapolate one week worth of pricing out of over 1 year of pricing, if this was the average lets say for the month it would give your statement more credibility.

I understand but the prices are on a downward trend based on the last month. In spite of growing inflation.

Is there a reason this card should warrant more than that? Or is this just jacked up pandemic shortage prices??
No real reason except that it's difficult to get it at $479. If you've already waited this long though, the price of these 3rd party cards will probably come down more and the MSRP cards will become easier to get.
Thanks for sharing. Disregard the thumbs down, some people just don't like when facts go against their beliefs.
Yeah, I can appreciate that. It's a shame though cause simply typing "6700xt crash" into a search engine will show many people experiencing the same inexplicable thing.

Even if they are downward trending if the price is average low for at least month or a "common" sale then like we see with some items every two weeks, then fine it would not be a slick deal. Right now cause its only been a weeks worth of pricing still slick.

Mining, shortages, and some inflation all three are still playing factors but supply is finally getting back there so prices as SDBuddy pointed out should continue to drop.
I got a 3080 for MSRP but I had to wait 9 months for it, so its possible. Also not sure if newegg still does their raffle but I had great luck on their raffle, and their prices are close to MSRP.
