This costco deal is an OK price but not mind blowing for the first generation version. Samsung naming kinda sucks... hard for the average person to tell which model is which gen. CRG9, G9 and G9 NEO.
Just be sure you want this CRG9 model before you get it.
I just ordered the Samsung Odyssey G7 32" 1440P monitor from the Costco site last week when it was on sale for $599 and got it in the mail 2 days ago. Set it up yesterday and looks great so far. I was going to order the G7 when it was on sale for $500 from the Samsung website back in November/December but I didn't trust the Samsung site for returns, especially when the G7 is known for quality control issues.
Also, on Reddit/other places people have mentioned the 90 day return policy doesn't apply to monitors from Costco. It's not a computer or TV...so technically you can return a monitor at any point. Most store associates will tell you 90 days for a computer monitor but people on Reddit spoke to Costco corporate and people that work at Costco have said the 90 day return policy doesn't apply to a monitor but because there is so much confusion for returns on monitors I'd always stick to returning it under 90 days.

And if these are compatible, how would I get audio?
Both these monitors have the same 5120x1440 resolution, so the screens are very similar in that regard. Finding nice wallpapers is kind of awkward at the super ultrawide 32:9 aspect ratio (this applies to both monitors). I do game, but not as much as I used to, and I have only used the CRG9 for gaming, which when you connect with Displayport can get 120HZ refresh rate. I could not the 120HZ refresh to work via HDMI. (I don't know if it's impossible or just wasn't working in my case). The CRG9 has been a flawlessly performing screen, aside from one dead pixel it has had since day 1. I usually don't see it unless I'm really looking for it.
I decided to "upgrade" to the G9 more for pleasing exterior aesthetics, because it has a white back as opposed to the black back of the CRG9, and actually, most of the rest of my computer has black peripherals as well, and the way my office is set up you walk in and see the back of the monitor, so I like seeing that nice sheet of white curved plastic. The G9 technically has a 240hz refresh rate, which uses more power, and I tile a large amount of windows on my monitor for work, so when the screen started flickering at 240hz and I went down the google rabbit hole and found that it's an issue that Samsung really hasn't gotten around to fixing, I was a bit bummed. But honestly, since changing the refresh to 120hz permanently I have had zero issues with the screen and it's using less power, which should trickle down as a bit of electricity savings.
The G9 has the more pronounced 1000R curve, whereas the CRG9 has a bit more flat 1800R curve. The rounder 1000R is a moderate improvement, but I will say the 1800R is no dealbreaker. You are going to be turning your head using either of these monitors if you have multiple windows setup, etc. Is it worth extra money? Maybe a slight premium.
I still have a 32" Dell Curved S3221QS on the side where I keep spreadsheets up and other work related items. I do like having a 3840x2160 resolution monitor because some things just benefit from having more height on the screen.
So basically, they're both nice, I think the G9 is maybe worth $100 more overall. I don't like that the 240HZ on the G9 (which was a selling point) has a bad track record on this monitor. I think the CRG9 was a good deal at $900 (it's back to $1,099 now) and if you want a big monitor that puts a wow factor on any desk, you can't go wrong with either of these.
