It has a setting to filter consecutive clicks made within a certain number of milliseconds of your choosing.

Buddy, they do, they're called optical switches which can basically never double click...or just higher quality Kailhs. Even the Japanese omrons are better quality than the Chinese ones Logitech uses for these. Now it seems like they recently changed that for the G Pro X Superlight, but that's in a different price category.

Optical switches come with their own set of issues, not including the fact that they will drain the battery faster.

As far as the whole Chinese/Japanese switch debate goes, how much of that is just prejudical bias?

Battery life wasn't really a concern, I mean 70 hours isn't much considering their target audience, it seems likely to get over in 2 weeks. Charging once in a week and a half at 50 hours isn't a problem since you're already charging so often, I would gladly trade battery life for buttons that won't fail. Again even you think there's no difference between the Omrons, it's a fact that Kailhs last longer. Even the lower rated durability 20M switches would have been better, it's that Logitech isn't giving the 50M slightly lower quality switches enough voltage to operate for a longer lifespan. I can't go into the specifics, but someone made a video on how it was an intentional design flaw on Logitech's end. EDIT: there's a temporary fix above, increasing the debounce time will help but will also make the click latency a little bit slower. The fact that you have to fix it using 3rd party software isn't acceptable though.

A lot. Because those switches are cheap OMRON china. You can buy it if you can solder with OMRON Japan.
OMRON Switch made in china: garbage.

No one can argue that China isn't known for peddling subpar variants of items. To strike that to "prejudicial bias" is borderline baiting imo. However, I digress and instead link a reddit thread from 4 years ago about Japanese Omron keyboard switches against the Chinese counterpart.

Did I extensively research this? NO. Am I going to? NO. I just googled Japanese mouse switches vs Chinese mouse switches and this was the first link. But judging by the page of list results, I think there's a good chance this is on point.

I have both. This is smaller than G903 and much lighter. The G903 feels more comfortable for me in most cases. This one also does not have the free scrolling wheel like the G903. If you mainly play FPS games or have small hands then get this. Otherwise G903 is probably better in most situations.

Every gaming Logitech mouse that I have owned has eventually developed the issued. It's enough that I switched to a Razer Viper Ultimate about 2 years ago and haven't looked back/ I have also owned the MX Master and MX Master 3 and both of those have been fine.
