It's a good way to find that the switch lite's dpad is garbage. A great game though if you have a real controller to play with.

I still remember spending so much time playing street fighter 2 on those arcade machine when I was still a teenager. So 30th anniversary now.

Ultra is not better. It plays extremely weird imo, plus 3 totally broken characters.

These are the arcade versions. No traditional console options/SFX Music Menu/bonuses/whatever.
I have a very hard time pulling off the moves flawlessly, unlike when I'd play on the SNES.
In my personal opinion every single version of these games in previous consoles are significantly better than this entire compilation. I don't play it and have NEVER been so disappointed by a SF game, even at this price...

I haven't played this Switch version (have it on PC) but ports aside starting with Super Street Fighter 2 they made it much more difficult to execute special moves like a fireball - the speed that you had to arc the joystick 90 degrees and the time window in which you have to then press the button have a reduced tolerance. I feel like I'm the only one who acknowledges this as I've never read any complaints about it. But it's a real problem. Same goes for other Street Fighter related games like X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Basically when Capcom introduced the CPS2 (arcade) hardware the controls got worse (SF3 runs on CPS3 hardware but I never played it so can't comment on the controls). The below games should still have good controls:
Street Fighter II series
The World Warrior
Champion Edition
Turbo: Hyper Fighting

As long as I'm complaining I'll mention that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (PS3 and probably XBOX 360) also ramped up the AI difficulty 10-fold - starting w/ the 3rd character or so it becomes a huge PITA. I've been kind of curious if the Switch updated port has the same issue - but there are plenty of other fish in the sea
