Bought this recently at full price and love it. I think I'll probably buy it and return it as the original.
That would be unethical if Amazon hadn't told me to do that, since they don't pricematch themselves. #facepalm
amazon told me to do the same thing with an indoor bicycle I bought... That I could buy another with the couple clipped (it was like a $100 coupon) and return the one I purchased. Since I didnt open the old one, i left it outside my door and had amazon pick up the old bike and drop off the new one... complete bs when they could have easily just price matched but I guess they dont price match coupons...
I got this brand for a 4K 55 inch and it couldn't hold the weight. Worked okay for my 34 inch. Keep in mind if you're planning to use it for a 55 inch.

It would still cheaper than price matching. I guess a lot less people would buy and return than price match.

What do you mean couldnt hold the weight? It should be installed on a stud and be perfectly fine. OLEDs arent heavier than this.

I have this and put a brand new TCL 55" on it. It's a very lightweight TV, and I added a top-mount soundbar. I estimate the whole rig is about 35#.
The hooks on the back of the VESA frame are definitely on the flimsy side, but not bad. If anything breaks, it will be those (not the rail that mounts into the studs, that could hold hundreds of lbs)
I hate these mounts. Can't access ports, etc when it's up against the wall. Articulating mounts are the way to go, plus if you have a large room, you can tilt the screen as needed

I do love the accessibility but not the distance from the wall and the overall sloppiness of the back side. This wouldn't be an issue if I didn't have to walk past the wall mount throughout the day but I do, so it is.
i don't get the purpose of having a pink or green TV mount, do people mount a TV mount without a TV so they can have show off the color?
Not low profile + tilting means it's probably quite visible from the side.
Although I'm surprised the company sells enough pink or green ones to justify offering them in those colors.

Did the TV fall off the wall? Otherwise, how could you tell if it couldn't hold the weight?

If you release the bottom latches, you can tilt the bottom up to get the ports on the back. I don't know about most people, but I don't plug/unplug stuff often so it's not really a big deal. Probably just a once every 2-years thing when I replace my FireStick with a newer model, and those can plug into the side so even less of a big deal.

What brand and model TV is it? "UNIVERSAL DESIGN: Tilting TV wall mount fits most 23" - 55" TVs up to 115lbs" (one reviewer says max is 88lbs)

I know what you mean, but maybe TV manufacturers should start putting ports in accessible places. The Sony I bought a few years ago has recessed ports that are basically inaccessible from the bottom! Wtf, Sony?
I recently installed a fully articulating mount for my in-laws, and it is quite nice. I'm currently using a basic Sanus mount (very high quality), but I might consider buying an articulating one the next time.

It wouldn't hold it up. Plain and simple. 55inch was the max this mount holds so I'm not sure if mine was slightly heavier than they anticipated.
Granted it was an off brand TV I got for cheap so it was it was unnecessarily heavy.

So far so good…
