Would like to know this too. Store outside or inside? Does it break down at all?
I store in the garage. have a separate table [amazon.com] for it. Probably would want to cover it if you left it outside. The legs fold for both. 12 has a nice carrying case you can get for it I think (20lbs). 16 is 40lbs so is a bit more work to move around.

There's always a pool in the background when these are marketed.

Got one of these at the end of 2020 from the bloomingdale's sale and have used it much more often than i thought I would have. Great purchase and even better pizza! This looks like a good deal too. I bought the 16. My brother has the 12... that 12 price is pretty amazing with peel.

Btw, for the 16 it looks like they include one of those turning peels, but you'll still need a launcher peel (like the one that comes with the 12) to get the pie into the oven.
opposite for me. also Got one of these at the end of 2020 from the bloomingdale's . I hate the location/usage of the ignition/ control on the back the unit. Hard to depress use.

Got no offers from listing in Nextdoor at 250. I'll try $225 next. If not ebay here I come. If anyone in PHX wants to buy one PM me

What does everyone use for storage?
There's a cover [ooni.com] though it'll fade over time if it's left directly in the sun. The oven is too big to fit in most storage bins, but if you have an outdoor kitchen it should fit nicely next to a grill. I've seen others get a simple rolling cart and roll it somewhere sheltered between uses.

Any reason I would switch from making pizza in my oven on a cast iron lodge pizza pan to this?
If you like Neapolitan pizza, then get an Ooni pizza oven. And use 00 flour and San Marzano tomatoes.

I use my Weber gas grill and a large pizza stone. My pizza comes out great. There is no need for this unless you want to stand alone unit.

Can you make pizza without a pizza oven...yes.

Can you make pizza that is the same as pizza from a 700+ degree pizza oven using a grill...no.

Same here. Blast the burners, let the stone sit out there for a bit, not sure what actual temperature it hits, but it cooks a pizza in like a minute and comes out great.

I have a Koda 12 and prefer the convenience of gas. Making pizza is involved enough as it is and there's no difference in taste vs. pizza cooked in our friends' karu.

Can't fathom why these cost even this "deal" price. They're small, simple, common materials, and not complex. What's up?

problem with the Oooni 16 is that it takes a long time to reach optimal temps (700F+). Around 40 minutes preheat. With the Ooni 12 it only took 30 minutes and reaches 900F.

I have a BULL outdoor grill that goes well beyond 700 degrees but I prefer the way it turns out at 550 in my oven on the same lodge. I do 00 flower. san marzano tomato, NY style...
Not sure if this would be a big difference, but ut does seem to get great reviews

I use a Kamado grill for pizzas. It's better IMO since it is more versatile. If you're just cooking pizzas, this is probably more convenient but I find it difficult justifying a $500 oven just for this.

Anyone compared the wood version vs the gas? I'm kind of a pizza snob when it comes to wood fired vs gas when seeking pizza at restaurants. Ie blaze pizza is gas, not sure on other chains.
There's a channel on the YouTubes called got2eatpizza. She has all of them I believe.
