Just a word of advice, you need to cancel this via the Best Buy website. It doesn't matter that you cancel via tidal…I learned that the hard way
I got this tidal deal last time. Also, when I canceled a week before expiration on best buy's web site (under subscriptions) and refreshed the page, it looked like it wasn't canceled. I watched like a hawk as the expiration date passed. It did not charge me. It did cancel, but it's nice to know that. The way they have it set up is confusing and stress provoking.
My advice is cancel in 3rd month, and also set up an alarm to go off the last day, and next day to make sure things go well.
I had some type of promotional offer for a month of this service a while back. It did not fit my needs so I decided to cancel.
I went through the promotional party (think it was T-mobile tuesday) and cancelled. Later I found out that it was not cancelled and I had been charged for the following month. I literally called them that day (probably 1 day passed since the new month charge) and I told them there was a mistake.
Apparently, Tidal refused to take any responsibility and said there is nothing they could do. Losing 10 bucks or so is not going to ruin me or anything but based on the principle I said at the very least, you can deduct the amount of the "day" it was enrolled for and refund the rest. (at that point, I did not care about the money as much as how it was so frustrating to get this resolved).
long story short, Tidal refused to remedy this issue. If they really need the 10 bucks, they can shove it where the sun don't shine. But I will always share my experience so others might be able to avoid this nuisance.

Can you purchase this and delay the start of the account? I heard great things about the sound quality in the Tesla, but I'm not sure when mine will be delivered. Would like to start it right when I take delivery either at the end of the month or next month.

That was confusing for me as well. If I remember correctly I figured it out in time, but it was confusing as heck and no clue why Tidal makes you cancel through the Best Buy site.

I'm wondering about this…I bought 4 codes, thinking I could activate one, then wait to activate the next after 3 months, and so on. But all 4 of them have the same "next billing date" of 6/14, even though I haven't activated any yet….
As chaoss said you need to cancel through best buy.
Although this is a fact, I've read a lot of reviews and many reviewers say they had cancelled through best buy as you're supposed to but it didn't work and they still got billed when the trial ends. And on top of that, tidal nor best buy would refund them.
Perhaps the most disturbing thing that some reviewers say is that hey have bought devices from best buy that have come with a free tidal subscriptions and have been billed 3 months later - when they never even created an account for tidal. - This doesn't pertain to this deal but it's something to keep in mind for future purchases through best buy that include free subscriptions. - That said, wells fargo comes to mind.

You can cancel right away (on the Best Buy website, as said). There will be an option to "keep service until it expires" or the like. I did that with a 3 month plan that expired in February, which worked as advertised, and have just done it with a new one, thanks to this deal.
