My advice is cancel in 3rd month, and also set up an alarm to go off the last day, and next day to make sure things go well.
I went through the promotional party (think it was T-mobile tuesday) and cancelled. Later I found out that it was not cancelled and I had been charged for the following month. I literally called them that day (probably 1 day passed since the new month charge) and I told them there was a mistake.
Apparently, Tidal refused to take any responsibility and said there is nothing they could do. Losing 10 bucks or so is not going to ruin me or anything but based on the principle I said at the very least, you can deduct the amount of the "day" it was enrolled for and refund the rest. (at that point, I did not care about the money as much as how it was so frustrating to get this resolved).
long story short, Tidal refused to remedy this issue. If they really need the 10 bucks, they can shove it where the sun don't shine. But I will always share my experience so others might be able to avoid this nuisance.

Although this is a fact, I've read a lot of reviews and many reviewers say they had cancelled through best buy as you're supposed to but it didn't work and they still got billed when the trial ends. And on top of that, tidal nor best buy would refund them.
Perhaps the most disturbing thing that some reviewers say is that hey have bought devices from best buy that have come with a free tidal subscriptions and have been billed 3 months later - when they never even created an account for tidal. - This doesn't pertain to this deal but it's something to keep in mind for future purchases through best buy that include free subscriptions. - That said, wells fargo comes to mind.
