Red Alert is right alongside Age of Empires 2 and Starcraft as definitive RTS games in my most humble opinion. I'm considering picking this up so my kiddo can experience it in modern times and enjoy one of my favorite games as a teenager
We used to install this on a bunch of the computer lab PCs every night and play till the early morning hours. Then we'd delete it so we wouldn't get in trouble and then do it again the next night. lol So many hours put into this.

No. But they are well-done remasters. If you like this series, 7 bucks is a no-brainer to me. But I'm also old, so I have nostalgia glasses on so...

Is attack-move implemented (A-clicking in Starcraft/Warcraft)? Total deal-breaker if not... there's only so much G I can spam before losing my mind.
Yes, it is. Never got into Starcraft back in the day, because I was a kid and choices had to be made, but its similar to Warcraft 2 or 3, but set in a 'modern' world where the Cold-War went hot....kind of like today....except with time-travel, and giant Tesla Coils, and giant ants.

I had less memory about red alert 1 than 2. I only played with my elder brother couple times. So I had some doubts, but I still bought this for pure support. The game experience actually turned out quit surprising well to me, the graphics is so great than I expected on my 4k monitor and the gameplay is also great. To me it's more like playing a new game and I really enjoy it!
